Funeral flowers that honour the life that they lived

Funeral flowers don’t need to be formal or generic. They can be a way of expressing the life of a loved one, of expressing love and joy. Funeral flowers are offered throughout the year - using seasonal flowers and foliage grown here on the farm in Nantgaredig. Everything I use is grown without plastic, without waste, and chosen for scent and colour. In the winter, we use dried flowers and seasonal foliage.

If you are looking for flowers for a funeral or a celebration of life, get in touch on email or phone and we’ll have a conversation. You can get in touch before or after the funeral date is set. You don’t need to know what you want, I can help guide you and offer different options.

If you'd like to visit the farm, you're welcome to do so. Some families want to see where the flowers are grown. Some just want to talk somewhere that isn't the house.

I’ll ask you about your loved one. What they loved and what mattered to them. What you want people to feel and remember about them when they see the flowers. Did they enjoy being outside in the garden? Did they like flowers - and what colours remind you of them?

We’ll discuss which arrangements you’d like for the funeral to reflect your loved one. From there, I liaise with the Funeral Directors, and create the arrangements, delivering to the funeral directors if needed.

I also offer workshops for children or the family to pick and arrange their own arrangements. This can be perfect for vase arrangements for the church or chapel and have a personal touch. Please ask for further information.

Everything is seasonal, grown here or sourced locally. Nothing is wrapped in plastic or foam.

I chose Lowri to create the flowers for my mothers funeral and during such a difficult time for myself and my family, Lowri went above and beyond and offered my three children the opportunity to visit her flower farm to hand pick flowers themselves to put into jars to have on display at the church.

It was such a thoughtful and incredibly kind gesture and it gave the children something really special to be involved in and a lovely way for them to feel connected to saying goodbye to their Nanny. They absolutely loved choosing their own flowers, and seeing them arranged in the church made the day even more meaningful for all of us, more so knowing that my mum would have absolutely loved it.
